Re: Post your collection

Nothing better than opening the box right? I've got this little ritual i do. Clear off the coffee table, then slowly and carefully remove the tape etc etc....My fiance says I look like a 7-year-old on christmas morning!

Re: Post your collection

Hi Guys. I see some very nice guns here. I personally do not partake in the sport of airsoft, but I do collect the weapons since the new gun laws came into affect, real ones being to difficult to attain. Will be posting some pics soon.

You'll note that not all my guns are of the electric type although most of the ones shown so far are.
Yes, I like the MP5 variants

Re: Post your collection

Hi Stug,

that SG552 has an unusual receiver-rail installed. How does it attach?

The sight on that R85?? looks great for a sg552. Where can I get one?

Re: Post your collection

Hi Johann
The Sig came like that with rail attached. It is the Cyma .020. Not an aftermarket attachment.
The Acog also came with the gun, but as stated by DJ it is a replica only, but sure looks great on the L85A2.

Hi Tom,

Does the scope magnify at all? Some replicas do and some don't. I am ordering one from China soon and will see how that one works on the SG552. The gun doesn't have sniper rifle range but the look of the scope is what I'm after. The NSN Style is really nice.

Have you tried a round or two of Airsoft?

Well Johann, I'm slightly on the large side and when not working, I do military modelling and also collect german militaria from the WW2 era, so no, I have never played. I collect these because I love guns and have done so from an early age when I still was able to go shooting with family and friends. Later in life I started collecting real firearms, but due to the licensing restrictions and altogether too much hassles from the SAP I decided this route would be easiest. I plink these days when I have time.

Hi Tom,
I know the feeling, I'm also selling my .308 bisley rifle due to licensing issues! And with it my dreams of representing south africa! But luckily I got my provincial colours!
Man the SAPS sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They try disarm law abiding citizens and then our guns end up in the hands of criminals!!!!!!!

Hey Boet, don't even get me started on this line...
I know exactly how you feel. I even went so far as to try and have some of my firearms deactivated so I could stuff them in the eye, but am still waiting for permission!!
Tom

BTW, Johann, sorry for not answering earlier...no the scope is just the outer tube, nothing inside. When you don't intend using the item it would be a waste of bucks.

You know, Brett, you are actually correct, but the SAP still has a ways to go before they will earn my respect. Corruption being the common denominator.
Now, this being a thread for collections....Let's see more guns!!!
